We charge:
Our basic charge is only 20% of the retail price you fix. But we will not charge you any sales commission until January 2010.
We advertise for you:
We will run your Adwords campaign at very low cost (optional).
We liaise with you:
in the organisation of deliveries of your hard copy books.
We deliver World wide:
only hard copy books.
We market books for publishing companies and authors through our very simple system. This is how it works:
You register book or CD for sale;
We produce a page of full information about your publication and we manually optimise that page for search engines. More on SEO
Your book or CD is ordered;
Customer pays into our ecommerce system;
We send you email notification of all relevant details of that sale, including a delivery label;
We acknowledge sale to customer and provide invoice; we tell customer to expect to hear from you about delivery;
You stick the label on your pre-packed book or CD and post it.
We pay you monthly, less 20%, our commission on the sale.
There are a few more things you need to know:
You alone are responsible for all customer complaints. If a customer is so unhappy as to charge back his payment to us, we look to you to repay to us the charge back fee debited by our service provider as well as our commission fee.
We make no guarantee as to how many books you will sell. It may be fewer or many more than you think. You can come to our site and withdraw a book temporarily if you are approaching a “no more stock” position.
If you fail to deliver a firm order, we may refuse to accept other publications from you.
You are responsible as publisher for all aspects of your publication, including: breach of copyright, defamation, and any other legal issue.
