just have to fly like they do,” was her reply. Tata held her arms out far from her body, to emulate the bird as it flies. She squawks out loud
and tries to copy the birds voice, that sits in the tree above them. “It’s ok to laugh if you want to Tita, see if you can fly,” she tells her with confidence. “You mean like this?” she replies with glee, as she emulates the birds. “Yes, yes that’s it, come and fly with me Tita!” Tata shouts to her to come and join her. The clouds pass over them as they soar with the birds in the sky above them, floating with the rain that will soon fall down on the earth; a wet and fun afternoon that will follow.
“One, two, three, four,” she counts as the drops begin to fall. “What are you doing now Tata?” Tita asks her puzzled and confused. “Hold on, five, six,” she continues. “Oh I see, wow there’s too many to count Tata,” Tita tells her as she loses track of how many drops have fallen on her head. “There’s too many Tita,” she yells as she holds up her hands, and sees that she has no more fingers to count on. “Woopee, we’re going to get soaked Tata,” she warns her and starts to run under the trees. Huddled under the huge oak tree, the two of them watch the rain come down and sit there for the rest of the afternoon, listening to the thunder and watching the lightning. Tata and Tita follow the drops as the wind blows them in
